Description: Random shape, sintered ceramic media is a hard, durable and extremely dense composition designed primarily for mass finishing and burnishing applications. It can also be used for light burr removal, radius formation and as an effective carrier for loose abrasives in cut-and-color processes. Its toughness and extremely fine crystalline structure produce lustrous, high-color finishes on ferrous metals, brass and aluminum. XM is an excellent ceramic alternative to steel media. XM is dark brown, approximately 140 pounds per cubic foot.
