1. Overview

Our products are primarily intended for commercial and industrial use.

By placing an order, you represent that:

  • You understand that our products are industrial-grade materials and equipment requiring proper handling and training.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

 

3. Products & Industrial Application

Bel Air provides industrial finishing media, machinery, compounds, wastewater treatment systems, and related equipment.

Due to the technical nature of our products:

  • All specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Performance results may vary based on material type, process variables, and operating conditions.

Customers are responsible for determining suitability for their specific application.

 

4. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by Bel Air.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any order
  • Limit quantities
  • Require additional verification before acceptance
  • Correct pricing errors

Order confirmation emails do not constitute final acceptance.

 

5. Pricing, Payment & Credit Terms

Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify pricing at any time
  • Correct pricing inaccuracies
  • Cancel orders arising from system errors

For approved commercial accounts, separate written credit agreements may apply and will supersede these Terms where applicable.

 

6. Shipping, Risk of Loss & Title Transfer

Shipping dates are estimates only.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Risk of loss transfers to Customer upon delivery to carrier.
  • Title transfers upon full payment.

Bel Air is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.

 

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns are governed by our Return Policy.

Custom machinery, special orders, custom media blends, and opened consumables may not be eligible for return.

Restocking fees may apply.

 

8. Product Use & Safety Disclaimer

Bel Air products are intended for professional industrial use only.

Customer acknowledges and agrees:

  • Products may involve mechanical, chemical, abrasive, electrical, or thermal hazards.
  • Proper PPE (personal protective equipment) must be used.
  • Equipment must be operated by trained personnel.
  • All safety instructions, SDS documentation, and manufacturer guidelines must be followed.

Bel Air is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from:

  • Improper installation
  • Improper operation
  • Modification of equipment
  • Failure to follow safety protocols
  • Use outside intended industrial application

 

9. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) & Hazardous Materials

Certain products may require Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Review applicable SDS documentation prior to use
  • Comply with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory requirements
  • Ensure safe storage and handling

Bel Air assumes no responsibility for failure to comply with regulatory or workplace safety requirements.

 

10. Limited Warranty Disclaimer

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Products are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
  • Bel Air disclaims all implied warranties, including:
    • Merchantability
    • Fitness for a particular purpose
    • Non-infringement

Any express warranties for machinery must be in writing and signed by an authorized Bel Air representative.

Bel Air shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Production downtime
  • Business interruption
  • Consequential or incidental damages

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Bel Air’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Under no circumstances shall Bel Air be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Special damages
  • Punitive damages
  • Consequential damages

This limitation applies whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

 

12. Force Majeure

Bel Air shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, governmental actions, war, terrorism, pandemics, public health emergencies, transportation delays, or material shortages.

In such events, performance obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure condition and timelines shall be reasonably extended.

 

13. Export Compliance

Customer agrees to comply with all applicable U.S. export laws and regulations.

Products may not be:

  • Exported or re-exported in violation of U.S. law
  • Transferred to sanctioned countries or prohibited end users

Customer assumes full responsibility for compliance with export regulations.

 

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, product descriptions, videos, and logos — is the property of Bel Air Finishing Supply Corporation.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.

 

15. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island.

 

16. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal action, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through written notice and negotiation.
