Shipping policy
Bel Air Finishing Supply Corp. ships all orders from our facility in North Kingstown, Rhode Island (02852). We encourage customers to use their own UPS or FedEx account for shipping whenever possible. This ensures faster processing, full control over carrier preferences, and optimized freight rates for your account.
Customer-Arranged Small Parcel Shipping (UPS / FedEx)
- Ship via UPS (Acct on Cart) – Select this option at checkout and provide your UPS account number.
- Ship via FedEx (Acct on Cart) – Select this option at checkout and provide your FedEx account number.
Recommended for shipments under ~150 lbs or for orders that can ship in standard parcel packaging.
Customer-Arranged Freight / LTL Shipping (150+ lbs)
For orders weighing 150 lbs or more, we recommend shipping via Freight / LTL.
This provides better control over handling, transit security, and freight class optimization.
When choosing this option, please provide the following on the Cart page:
- Freight Carrier Name (ex: Old Dominion, XPO, R&L, TForce, etc.)
- Your Freight Account Number
- Freight Carrier Contact Phone Number
If palletization is required, Bel Air provides standard pallet prep at no charge. Special crating or export packaging may incur additional cost.
Customer-Paid / Bel Air-Arranged Shipping
If a customer does not provide a UPS or FedEx account number, a credit card is required for payment and Bel Air Finishing will arrange the shipment. In this case, the following conditions apply:
- Orders under 200 lbs are shipped via UPS or an equivalent ground service.
- Orders over 150–200 lbs may ship freight at Bel Air’s discretion.
- A $25 processing fee plus insurance will be added to the final shipping cost.
- You will be contacted by a Bel Air Sales representative with shipping details and cost confirmation before your order ships.

Returns
Equipment Returns
- All equipment sales are final.
- Bel Air reserves the right to refuse any return request.
- In special cases, unused stock equipment may be returnable with a 15% restocking credit (i.e., an 85% restocking fee retained by Bel Air).
Consumables, Media & Supplies
- All consumable and media sales are final.
- In special cases, unopened stock consumables may be returnable with a 25% restocking fee.
- Opened or used media/compounds are not eligible for return.
Return Authorization No product may be returned without an RMA (Return Material Authorization) issued by Bel Air. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at customer expense.
Processing & Transit Times
Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days after payment is received, depending on product availability. Transit times vary by carrier and location.
