AquaSafe™ wastewater treatment powders provide a fast, economical one-step solution for treating industrial wastewater from vibratory finishing, tumbling, cleaning, and other manufacturing processes.
When added to wastewater, AquaSafe initiates a chemical and physical reaction that encapsulates oils, metals, and suspended solids into a dense floc, allowing contaminants to settle and be easily removed. The result is clear water ready for reuse or discharge and compact sludge for disposal.
AquaSafe powders are non-hazardous, easy to handle, and compatible with existing treatment tanks or Bel Air AquaSafe systems.
Available AquaSafe Blends
| Blend | Best Use | Description |
|---|---|---|
| WW-100 | General wastewater | All-purpose formulation that works quickly in many situations. Recommended as the first blend to test. |
| WW-200 | Vibratory finishing wastewater | Particularly effective for wastewater from vibratory finishing, tumbling, and cleaning operations. |
| WW-250 | High-solids wastewater | Advanced blend that works under many conditions and often produces dense, compact sludge. |
| WW-380 | Difficult wastewater | Alternative blend used when other treatments do not perform well under certain wastewater conditions. |
How AquaSafe Works
AquaSafe treatment powders initiate flocculation that separates contaminants from wastewater through a simple treatment process:
- Dosing – AquaSafe powder is added to the wastewater treatment tank.
- Mixing – Agitation disperses the powder and begins the flocculation process.
- Floc Formation – Oils, metals, and suspended solids are encapsulated into dense floc particles.
- Settling – Floc settles to the bottom of the vessel, leaving clear liquid above.
- Separation – Clarified water is decanted for reuse or discharge, and sludge is removed for drying and disposal.
Most treatment cycles are completed within 10–30 minutes, depending on tank size and wastewater composition.
